Breguet antique chronograph No.2023
This dashboard chronograph, No. 2023, was won at the auction by Ed Ed in the closing auction for the Paris Antique Car Show, a must-attend car event for antique fans. No.2023 Chronograph was first sold to Bugatti Motors in 1932 and is one of nine car timepieces specially designed by Breguet for the car's brand. Case made of chrome-plated metal, diameter 67 mm, equipped with sophisticated features tailored specifically for the car: speed ruler. The cream dial is engraved with the words "Spécial pour Bugatti" ("designed for Bugatti") with a bluing steel pointer with a hollow, off-center "moon-shaped" tip built in 1783 by Breguet and a cumulative minute in the 6- Timer. The chronograph is powered by a mechanical movement that rotates the crown at 6 o'clock for up to 8 days. The timepiece original watch box is also purchased with the auction.
