In 2014, the 20th anniversary of Furniture China, a brand new design award named as "Gold Idea Design Award" was initiated to put the latest product nnovations into the focus of the public. Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the founder and president ofThe Red Dot Award was invited to hold the post of the jury's president.
China Furniture Design Awards had been held ofr 15 years, and it altered to China Furniture Product Innovation Awards in 2014. The Award focuses on products and innovation and is mainly oriented to the set of furniture.
