Refrigerant Dryer is widely used in nitrogen/Oxygen Generator, it is a very important part to get rid of water. Its principle is compressed air is cooled in an air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, then the condensed moisture is separated and drained off. The air is then reheated in an air-to-air heat exchanger with the help of incoming air. This action also pre-cooling the incoming air.

For the cooling method of dryer, there are two types: air cooling and water cooling. For small flow rate machine, normally it is recommended to use air cooling dryer. For big flow rate machines, better use water cooling type.
