On the use of pipeline pump and quick maintenance

In order to ensure the normal oil supply, the normal use and rapid maintenance of pipeline pumps have become the most important task of oil depot equipment management.

Pipeline pump use points:

1) Test work: Check if the connecting piece is loose; Turn the rotor by hand to make the coupling rotate for a few revolutions to see whether the rotation of the unit is flexible or not, whether there is a feeling of noise and unevenness to judge whether there is any foreign matter in the pump or whether the shaft is Bending, seal installation is not correct, etc .; check the seal cavity clean No. 20 lube is filled with 1/2 cavity space; pump unit surface is clean; unit to no-load test.

2) manual start: filling pump (first time), slightly open the outlet valve, start the motor, the pressure rise and confirm the smooth operation of the pump group outlet valve to the operating conditions.

3) Operation check: When the pump is working normally (frequency conversion), it should periodically check and record the readings of the ammeter, voltmeter, vacuum gauge, pressure gauge and flow meter of the pump set. Unit vibration, noise, temperature rise is normal. Shaft seals should not have significant aviation fuel leaks.

4) Normal stop: close the discharge valve, so that the pump light load, stop the motor.

5) Emergency stop situation:

(1) pump motor ammeter indicates abnormal (too large or become too small); pump system gives abnormal sound.

⑵ pump inlet vacuum pressure gauge, outlet pressure gauge indicates an exception, the pump vibration larger and issued a different sound, a serious decline in performance.

⑶ pump motor odor, leakage at the shaft seal aviation fuel, bearing temperature over 75 degrees and so on.

Pipeline pump quick maintenance points:

1) Every 500 hours of operation, should loosen the screw plug on the sealing seat, with a syringe out of the chamber residual oil; to the sealed chamber filled with qualified 20 machine oil to half the volume of the cavity (plus the appropriate amount of oil inspection method: Run the pump, the oil does not come out to the outside); Screw tighten to prevent leakage occurs.

2) If motor noise is found to increase and the temperature rise at the bearing is abnormal, check the lubrication of the motor bearing. Such as grease discoloration, dirty should be promptly replaced.

3) When the sealing seat is found to have oil leakage phenomenon, you can loosen the screw plug on the sealing seat and run the oil pump. When the oil comes out and there is a taste of aviation fuel, it can be judged: the mechanical seal fails. Stop using the pipe pump for quick mechanical seal replacement.

4) Replace the failed mechanical seal method:

(1) ready to place pump parts table (ground) and disassembly tools, do not arbitrarily put arbitrary use, so as not to damage the pump parts.

(2) Check that the motor is under inspection before demolition; unscrew the fuel filler screw and suck the lubricant in the seal holder with straw.

(3) Disassemble the split coupling: Unscrew the fixed hexagon socket head cap screw and gently pull half of the coupling shaft off the shaft (take care not to fall off). Unscrew the bolt and stopper of the pump shaft with a wrench, let the impeller slowly sink to the pump body, remove the other coupling and take off the pump shaft.

(4) Disassembly sealing seat: Unscrew the sealing seat compression nut, gently remove the sealing seat (Note: do not break the seat rubber seal) and clean.

(5) Disassembly and cleaning of the bearing seat: After the bearing seat is slightly loosened, lift off the bearing seat with the removal bolt and lift it upwards along the axis of the pump. Remove the bearings and seat with jet fuel and dry before installation Paint a little on the 20th machine oil lubrication protection.

(6) Disassembly Mechanical Seal: Grasp the seal spring and lift up the pump shaft to remove it.

(7) mechanical seal assembly: static and dynamic mirror coated with a layer of clean No. 20 oil; guide bearing seat cast grease, gently positioning the stationary ring into the guide chock; then on the pump shaft Put on the lubricating oil, put the moving ring part of the mechanical seal gently into the pump shaft, gently push the sealing ring by hand to be retractable (note that the anti-rotation part of the moving and stationary ring parts should be assembled in place).

(8) mounted sealing seat: sealing seat installed on the first rubber seal, seal seat and then into the pump cover and pressed on the bearing, tighten the nut.

(9) Install the coupling: Install the retaining ring on the motor shaft first, install half the coupling, install the stopper in the shaft end of the pump and the coupling groove, and tighten the bolt with the wrench (lift the shaft 3 ~ 5 mm and provide mechanical seal prestress); reassemble the other half of the coupling Screw on the hexagon socket screws must be tightened. Correct installation of the coupling inspection requirements: split the upper and lower coupling evenly spaced gap;

(10) according to the use of key test run to check the replacement of mechanical seal is correct, the pump is operating normally.
