Peony Virus Disease Analysis

Symptoms: The peony ring spot virus (PRV) produces dark green and light green identical concentric round spots on the leaves, small necrotic spots, no dwarfing of the plants, and TRVs of varying sizes of rings or spots. , sometimes it is irregular, and PLCV causes the plants to dwarf, the lower branches are thin and weak, and the leaves are yellow and curly.

Pathogens: (1) Peony Ringspot virus (PRV) Virus and globule, 27 nm. It is difficult to inoculate with rubbing juice and can be transmitted by ticks. (2) Tobaccorattlevirus TRV There are two types of virions, 190 nm long and 45-115 nm short. The sap can be inoculated and reported that nematodes, Cuscuta seeds, and peony seeds can all be transmitted. (3) Peony leaf curl virus (PLCV) is infected by grafting.

Routes of Infection: Propagation of strains with diseased plants, or grafting of materials, and large numbers of fieldworms occur. Host plants: PRV and PLCV are pests and peony, and TRV is also used to kill hyacinths, daffodils, tulips and other flowers in addition to peony and peony.

Control methods: 1. Do not use breeding strains for diseased plants. Diseased plants should be cleared in time. 2, early prevention and control of drug aphids. Clean the surrounding weeds to reduce the source of infection.
