The correct use of the pump

1, start

(a) Determine the motor rotation direction is correct before the pump connection, whether the rotation of the pump is flexible (or check the motor rotation after the pump is filled with water, and it is forbidden to do no water idling in the pump)

(b) Close the gate valve on the discharge line.

(c) Fill the pump with water or use a vacuum pump.

(d) Turn on the power, when the pump reaches normal speed, and then gradually open the discharge valve on the pipeline, and adjust to the required conditions. In the discharge tube gate valve closed case, the pump can not work more than 3 minutes.

2, stop

(a) Gradually close the gate valve on the discharge line to cut off the power.

(b) If the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the pump water should be released to prevent cracking.

(c) If it is to be stopped for a long time, the pump should be disassembled, cleaned and oiled, and should be stored in a package.

3, running

(a) Care should be taken to observe the meter readings, temperature rise of bearings, dripping and temperature rise of packing, vibration and noise of pumps during normal operation and driving. If any abnormalities are found, they should be disposed promptly.

(b) Bearing temperature and ambient temperature difference of not more than 40 ℃, bearing temperature up to not exceed 80 ℃

(c) Filler leakage should be a small amount of uniform.

(d) Bearing oil level should be maintained in the normal position, can not be too high or too low, low oil should be replenished promptly.

(e) If the sealing ring and the impeller with excessive wear and tear parts of the gap should be replaced with a new seal (new pump diameter clearance of about 0.15 ~ 0.25mm)

(f) The pump should be operated near the performance points (flow, lift, etc.) specified on the nameplate so that the pump can work long-term in a high-efficiency area to achieve maximum energy savings.
